ISABOO

Alex from Tappan, NY: Does Isaboo have a favorite toy that she plays with?
RACHAEL: She has thousands of toys. Her faves are any stuffed animal with squeakers inside of them. It’s like a challenge; she bites through the toy until she finally gets to the squeaker. She also has a blue ball that she likes to throw down the stairs, which scares the heck out of mommy!

Erika from Flemington, NJ: Hey Rach! My boyfriend and I recently adopted a pit bull -- he is one and a half and such a sweetie! We were wondering if you had any tips about training – anything that’s helped you with Isaboo that you can share?
RACHAEL: Socialize them as much as possible, Izzy goes to school every day, she has since she is 6 months. Pitbulls are prone to separation anxiety and don’t make a big deal about it when you leave. Give them a treat and be mellow when you leave.

Carol from West Chester, PA: Rachael, I have a question about Isaboo. Does she like to chase little critters (rabbits, squirrels, birds)? Or do you always have her leashed?
RACHAEL: She doesn’t chase other animals she just tries to play with them. She goes to school every day; they let her run around without a leash with other dogs. She thinks cats and ponies are other dogs she can play with.

Janine from East Killingly, CT: I see you feature different pets on the show, I was wondering if you bring Isaboo to work with you and what you did to feed her during the pet food scare. Thanks!
RACHAEL: Isaboo is a very busy lady; she comes to work when her schedule permits. There’s never a shortage of playmates here for Isaboo, as everyone with a dog, cat or other animal bring their pet to the office!

Leslie from South Bend, WA: Like you, we have a dog (chocolate lab) that means everything to us. Have you ever considered getting Isaboo a playmate/companion? If so, same kind of dog or different breed?
RACHAEL: No, Isaboo is too much of a princess; she really likes being the only child. She goes to school everyday since she was 6 months old; she plays well with others. When she comes home, she likes singular attention. She is a very happy only child. She wants mommy and daddy all to herself.
