The Pittsburger
Drinking anything but beer with a burger feels simply wrong. The way the bubbles refresh your palate means they go down easily. But just like there are many ways to make a burger, there's a huge range of beers out there; pairing the right ones can make two already delicious things even better. For Rachael's Pittsburger, I like to pair the Ommegang Hennepin beer, which is a Belgian Farmhouse-style Beer made in Cooperstown, N.Y. It is a beautiful golden color and is lightly spiced so that it not only refreshes the palate, but is full-bodied enough to pair well and brings out all of the great flavors in The Pittsburger.
