Ann Romney has been very open about her struggle with multiple sclerosis, and in turn has inspired others with the disease to live their lives to the fullest. One of our viewers, Jennifer Neri, 21, from Bangor, Maine also has MS and says she looks up to Romney as a role model.

She and Romney were both on our show last season when we surprised Neri with a trip to Secrets Puerto Los Cabos. She had such a great time on her trip, she wrote us a letter: “I was able to just relax and not worry about my MS during the trip.” “Since my diagnosis, I have found more and more ways to get involved in the MS community. I even participated in a 5K mud run in Boston!”

Watch the video to hear about her plans for the future (hello, doctorate degree!) and how she’s helping other people with neurological issues.

“I will not let MS stand in the way of my dreams, and it will never stand in the way of my future,” she says.

Go, Jennifer!
