Hey, Muftr!
If you had asked me what was next the day I got eliminated, I'd have told you, "NOTHING! I'm going back to my wonderful life, my garden, my chickens, my kitchen, and my friends and family."
But after a few days, something kept bugging me. For years I've wanted to create a new kind of cookbook...a cookbook infused with the stories that lie behind all the recipes I use. I rarely use cookbooks, myself, and rely on recipes handed down to me through the generations, as well as things I've learned while sharing kitchens in homes across the world.
So I got to work on it, and like I do with everything, I worked nonstop, almost 24 hours a day. Consequently, the first volume in the cookbook series is done! The series is called FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Every Recipe Has A Story. And that's true...every recipe in the book has a story attached to it, whether it's the story of how my sister killed 4 chickens with her peanut butter cookies at age 12, or how I learned to cook goat after being rescued by Bedouins on camels in the Sinai desert after a horrible car wreck.
Volume 1 is called From Beginning to Expert in 100 Pages or Less, and it's basically a primer on cooking...a great gift for someone just learning how to cook. I've discovered, though, that most of the people buying it are well-seasoned cooks (get it? well-seasoned...) and they're discovered all sorts of new things by reading it.
Check it out! It's on my website:

I'm SUPER passionate about the series, I'm almost through with the second volume, and I can't wait to get them all finished!
Thanks again for watching and have a WONDERFUL holiday season!
Warmly,
Ben
