Cojo

Lisa
Of all of Rachael Ray's guests and friends on her show, I really have a hard time accepting any advice from Cojo...this person really needs to figure out it's identity before trying to give any advice to anyone...and believe me, I am not closed-minded to how people live, who they are, etc...but Cojo just doesn't cut it for me...and yes, I do fast-forward my DVR through that portion...

I agree with you! That is one person I just can't stand. I like people of ALL sorts, but this is one I just can't take!!! Sometimes I skip a whole show because of him being on the show. I don't know what it is about him, but I just don't like him.

pandora407
I agree with you both. He is very creepy. Sounds and dresses like a man but looks like a woman.

hardworkingmom
I feel you all but those shades where HOT!!
He's confused but sorry again i most say those shades are HOT!!!

I love Cojo:) He has figured out his identity, and is comfortable being himself. If you are too small minded to handle that, then please keep your comments to yourself. Didn't your momma teach you that words hurt and you can't take them back?

The real reason I came to the message board:

I was watching the show with my kids, and they were talking to each other during Cojo. I asked them to be quiet while Cojo was talking and my 3.5 year old daughter said, "Is he the President?"
(We make them sit quietly while the resident talks too!) I thought that was too cute.

Open your minds and hearts people, Cojo didn't get where he is from onesided minds like yourselves, he's a great guy and well educated in his field. Lighten up, and the lady that teaches her children manners, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou. Cindy

MangoMangos
I believe that Cojo knows EXACTLY who he is and he is not afraid to think for himself and be himself. Good for him! We should all be so bold!

Oh and "Is he the president?" Priceless :O)

Ms MaryAnn
I agree with the open minded people on this board. Cojo has been through quite a lot these past few years and thank God looks like he's made a full recovery. The only people that think he does not know who he is, are the people that don't know who they are.

God bless Cojo and have a healthy, healthy and happy New Year.

I am happy that there are others out there that will also stand up for what is right. Together we will make the world a better place for our children, one person at a time.

Thanks to those who stand with me in making this world a better place for our kids. Together, we can change the world, one person at a time!

I have not doubt that Cojo knows who he is. From the neck down, no one would question his fashion sense on himself and he has good advice. But . . .

It's hard to take fashion advice from anyone in clown make up.

I thought he was a woman the first time I saw him! What is this?! His suit looked like a woman's suit!

I don't think Cojo is confused at all. I think he knows exactly who he is, and is very comfortable with himself. More power to him. I just think some people out there can't wrap their minds around it. They are the ones who are confused about him. It's called projection.

Oh, please -- just because someone has difficulty accepting fashion advice from Cojo doesn't mean they don't "know who they are."

And the OP on this thread never said there was anything wrong with Cojo -- just that s/he couldn't relate to his advice.

Go work on your psych degree.

I don't need to work on my psych degree Ms. "Tess"terosa (which means red head in Italian, btw). I have a Master's in Psychology and I also excel in reading comprehension. The original poster in this thread said (and I quote), "this person really needs to figure out it's identity before trying to give any advice to anyone..." My post was in response to that. Maybe you could use a refresher in reading comprehension. I've said it before but I'll say it again. I think Cojo knows exactly who he is and has no identity problem. It's other people that may not be able to understand him - They are the ones who are confused, not him. And even if he did have an identity problem why would that have anything to do with the quality of his fashion advice??

In case you still don't get it....They are confused about HIM, but he is not confused about HIM. Get it now? Sheesh! I didn't think I had to draw pictures!

I would rather take advice from a woman about fashion not a man.

RachRocks
Cojo was just on Dr. Phil yesterday. Whose advice would you trust more, Cojo's or Joan Rivers? I don't think Cojo has an identity crisis.

It's quite prescient that the RR Talkshow Circus would have him on.

He happens to be a very nice person who knows fashion...That's really all I care about...

I myself can’t help but like the guy. He is a unique individual who is so inspiring and motivating. From his emotional confessions to his firm stand on fashion, Cojo shows he is a true to himself type of person. I can’t wait to get my hands on his new book! Congratulations Cojo!

That was a wonderful story about the kidney transplants. My husband had a transplant on Sept. 11th 2007. He has Policystic Kidney Disease. Fortunately for him, things went fast. He went into full kidney failure and went on dialysis for 3 mths. Then we got the call that they had a kidney for him. I had wanted to do the program you were talking about but unfortunately I am starting to have my own kidney problems. I felt completely helpless. I really encourage everyone to be an organ donor. It really does save lives. I figure after I'm dead I don't need it anymore, let someone else have the gift of life!!

I feel like so many people missed the whole point of Cojo's visit. I sat and cried the whole time. I was on hemo dialysis for 6 years and now on peritoneal dialysis for the last year. I am too ill to get a transplant. After 2 heart attacks, triple bypass surgery, Lupus and fibromyalgia. I just found out that my heart is only working 20 percent. But I fight every day to live and I hope that everyone that reads this will enjoy their good health and fight too.
