How do I get my husband UN-interested in camouglage clothing?
He loves the great outdoors and would love to bring it all inside. He owns camo crocks, jackets, shirts, hats, etc.
I hope I'm doing this right!

Try all things in moderation. Rather than attack his sense of style, and more than likely his comfort zone, try working in baby steps. Instead of camo hat, shirt, and jacket for the day, suggest trying a solid flannel shirt or t-shirt with the camo hat. Perhaps encouraging him to mix and match will open his eyes to the many possibilities.

Definitely Good advice from jennalyn.
If he likes the camo look he'll probably be into other military stuff. Check out your local army surplus store for interesting WW2 jackets and stuff from other countries. They usually have some pretty cool foreign lookin cuts and styles that could prove stylish and maybe something you can actually stand....or you could just accidentally add some bleach to your next load of laundry and blame it on the kids.

No, really...the Army/Navy store is also a good idea. Add OD green instead of just camo to start.

How about, you tell your Husband, that you watched this show" What not to wear" and YOU realized that YOU would like to improve your looks. And since you don't want to go crazy spending money on a new wardrobe, you would like to once a week or month have a new outfit. Make a specific date and ask him for his support, so both of you wear a new, nice outfit. Then make sure to give him lots of compliments. Let him know how much you aprishiate it. I'll bet after a while getting great responses he may be more interested in his looks. Just another thought.

My husband lets me have whatever I want. He's not hard to get along with. He's just "him".

He also knows about this forum and thinks it's great fun! He's all for caring about his looks, which by the way are awesome!
