Gretta,
So thrilled to talk to you! I'm 40 and thanks to poking fun at me since I was very young I have been shaving my chin for a very long time. I also have shaved above my lip but I have used hair remover as well. What can I use on both areas instead of a razor??? My hair is blonde and so are the roots of the hairs, I've been told that electrolysis won't work if the roots are light.
HELP

Thank you,
Kelly

I'm an electrologist. Who ever told you this form of permanent hair removal won't work on blonde hair is 100% wrong. My advice to you is to make an appt but don't shave for at least one week. The longer the hair the easier it is to see and remove. Also keep in mind that hair has different stages of growth so when you leave the electrolosist within 10 days or so the next batch of hair will break the surface. That will be the group she or he will remove on the next visit. These treatments can go on for almost a year with lengthing time in between appointments. I've never had to work on any one area for more than a year.
