Rachael Ray: Rachael's Daytime Talkshow

message boards

No high FIVE for MJ or RR

What happened to the subject on MJ? I guess the RR show felt it was not a fair topic for this message board. But it was a fair topic to promote a child molester's comeback? Does the RR show NOT believe in Freedom of Speech? All I can say is, this is the USA and not a communist country. If you are going to have a site for people to have a voice then let them have it! OR, do not have a message board at all!

THIS IS PATHETIC! The RR Show will only allow us, the audience, to post words of praise and worship to RR? How DARE we as the viewing audience bring up any controversial topics that they,(the RR show), have STARTED! Shame on us!

I mean, when Laura brought up this topic, I was amazed that MJ was having a comeback, let alone for anyone to care about it enough to promote it on their talk show. I know you are all going to say that MJ was never found guilty of that crime, but use some common sense people, he used the power of the almighty dollar to get himself off, pardon the pun there.

If the RR show will not allow comments of Laura, or even YOU, on this message board, then why are we, as a public, supporting her web sites and her TV show? I truly feel that the MJ controversy has brought us to a NEW controversy! CENSORSHIP OF THE PEOPLE! This is our chance to let the people who are making tons of money, because of OUR support of them in the entertainment industry, know that we are not going to allow this action to take place. Like I stated before, if the RR show, or any show for that matter, does not want us to call them on the BLUNDERS they create, do NOT have a message board.

Start a clubhouse fan club instead.

Thank you, Laura, for bringing the MJ topic up...for you have inadvertently opened up another can of worms that we, the audience that pays these peoples salaries by watching their TV shows and logging in to their web sites, must address: "CENSORSHIP of the PUBLIC".

Just another thought for the people involved on the RR show.

Oh cool! Let's fight censorship with censorship.

This debate has been going on for decades... on bbses long before the internet. You are not going to change it with any amount of long angry posts. But that is your right so go ahead.

now for my 2 cents...

Personally I did not even see a MJ thread... so I have no idea why it was deleted. But it seems to me that people on here have are allowed to post their comments *pro or con* about RR, her recipes, her show ideas and/or the website to their heart's content. And yes, some excessively nasty posts (mine included) directed ***at other users*** have been deleted. That's called moderation... moderating the bullies.

Get over this... it's an owned, moderated message board. I am sure you can find one more to your liking if you try hard enough. Why spoil it for other people that choose to be here for positive reasons?

Oh that's right! Because you can... It's called Freedom of Speech and it's for everyone including RR and her staff.

Have a nice day!

:)

I don't think Rachael was celebrating Michael Jackson. It was all about the music. The "Thriller" album, in my opinion, is still a great album. Why punish the music for what the man did or in a court of law didn't do? I don't like Michael Jackson as a person but I'm not going to crucify his music because of him.
