Skinn Cancer is not just for the outside skin

Last year after a clean pap , I was notified I had Squamous Cell Carcinoma from a skin biospy taken internally.Yes you can get skin cancer internally. Please let women know if something dose not look right or feel right and your pap is clean don't stop. Ask . Demand if you need to ,get another opinion. I was stage 3 and am now OK after surgery to remove then reconstruct the effected area. It could have been differant.I am lucky. I could feel that the skin wasn't smooth and had it biospyed.SCC can be life threating and can be found in the lining of organs or on the surface of organs.You can get skin cancer where the sun don't shine.....Thanks for the outlet, D.
