I was very disappointed with the Skeet Ulrich segment. I haven't seen him on any other talk shows, so I would have liked to hear more about him or his family. If he wants privacy, that"s fine and very understandable. Then talk about the show:the near-cancellation, the unprecedented fan rescue, the future.....hey he's so "yum-o" I could just watch him smile. The Wii thing was lame.

Nutrition begins at home. I hope the ladies trying to improve food in schools are aimimg at the source of the problem-the kids' preception of food that they have learned at home and from their peers-rather than at the schools. Food service in schools is a business just like any other. They have to meet a budget even though they get government subsidies. To do that they have to have customers. To have customers, they have to provide what their customers want. Schools went to fast food type menus years ago when the kids quit coming in to eat baked chicken and green beans, opting instead for hot dogs and chips from home or burgers and fries that someone from home gave them money to buy elsewhere. Schools will provide what their customers will eat, but they can't survive if they provide what parents SAY they want, but haven't trained their children to eat.

I completely agree about the Skeet part!! I think his total air time was 2.14!! It was by far the worst (shortest) guest appearance I have ever seen on this show. But, I have a feeling it was kept short and simple because at the time they taped the show, they probably weren't sure of the outcome of Jericho's finale, I noticed she said "watch the finale", not prefaced by "season" or "series". I also wonder if Skeet had mentioned more in the way of urging people to watch the finale, it might have had a last ditch effort to raise the ratings.
