Rachael, you told us you lived in the woods, had a mild mannered dog, and kept your ladder in the carport. All this information after the guest burglar told us to never give out too much personal information about ourselves. Rachael, you should get all the burglar proofing you can and fast! Keep safe.

Rachel you did give out too much info. I am not so much worried about you being robbed but your safety could come into play. That does worry me.

I am a fan of the Rachael Ray Show, but very upset how friendly and cheerful Rachael was with her criminal guest. I guess Rach never was a victim herself. A burgular takes more than just stuff from innocent people, he robs them of their feeling of being safe in their own home.
Im shocked that Rachael Ray would assist this crook promote his book. Walter is clearly making more money off his victims, and Rach just was too friendly and polite!!!!

She lives in the Hamptons now and I'm sure she has security.

It was scary to see how he broke into the house with 15 people downstairs. We have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and he lets us know when someone is coming. We live in Montana and never lock our doors when we go to town or just around the neighborhood. There has never been a break in during the 15 years we have lived here.
But will keep in mind all the things that were said in the show.

Oh now...come on people, aren't we being a bit harsh towards sweet, silly, perky Rach. I think she was amazed as we all were about how easy this man could enter the home undetected. But I thought some of the tips he gave were invaluable. Rach is Rach, her personality "isn't going to be" a hard nosed investigator/interviewer. If you have seen other interviews she has done, you can obviously tell she is caring and compassionate to anyone who is a victim. The one thing I did miss hearing from this interview is how this man was punished. Maybe I'll win his book in Rach's giveaway and find out. LOL

Dakota 5...now that you just handed out that information letting people know that people don't lock their doors...people will be looking you up and where you live. I live in the city and lock my door all day everyday...i couldnt imagine not locking my door. if you dont lock your door then your asking for a break in..your homeowners insurance wouldnt pay for that either! go lock your door!
