We have 2 old armoires (the kind you keep clothing in) that we were thinking of doing something different with and your ideas are great! Unfortunately, they won't work with our armoires. I was wondering if you had any ideas for armoires that were separated - with one half being open (for hanging clothes) and the other half all shelving. I was trying to think of a way to make it into some sort of a china cabinet...? Any idea's?

I think youre on the right track with turning it into a china cabinet. Try painting the back wall of the open shelving a contrasting color but leaving the shelves the color of the armoire so that way it doesn’t look disjointed. You can also do the shelving at different heights depending on what you would like to display such as vases, pictures, etc. Hope that helps and let me know how it goes! - Evette
