There will always be criticism of anyone and two sides, agreed, that's the risk we take being online, however, that I thought, was the point of her lawsuit: when slanderous remarks are ugly and deceitful, it is not helping anyone, only hurting.
...And besides, that's the point of the slanderer, to hurt the other person by getting people/potential clients/casual web surfers to think the other person is awful... and it worked, huh?
I am have the same problem myself, so I feel for Sue. She may have made some mistakes along the way in her business, but everyone does, and that's how a company/person/small biz owner can grow from learning. Being transparent online with helpful, constructive criticisms is very key in an online business/personal branding to show you're willing to correct your mistakes, but when slander is violently verbally abusive and untrue, it needs to be stopped.
A person/biz owner can only ignore it for so long, especially when they make their living online.
