Love of our parents/ And Happy Mothers Day

DonnaReed
I loved your show today, it is so heartwarming to see children showing how much they love their parents and talking about their happy childhoods. With todays divorce rates, so many kids do miss out on alot I think. I remember how great it was to see my parents show their love for one another, they never yelled, or fought, not in front of us anyway, I remember my parents having two fights through their whole marriage.
I unfortunately did not follow their lead, I am on my third and last marriage at 53, and love him dearly, took me three times but have finally found my soul mate.
Anyway, thanks for a great show.
I also loved the Amazon reader that Valeri showed, I wish I could afford things like that, I have arthritis of the hands and severe fibromyalgia, and being disabled now, I love to read but have a hard time reading as it hurts to hold the books, have tried book stands, but they are a pain, as you still have to turn the pages. But this item was great, but I can not afford 400 dollars to buy one, it is a shame these things are so expensive, and I know my kids can't afford it either so I know I won't get one for mothers day!
They should offer you discounts on the items you plug on your show, or pass on these discounts to your viewers at least!!
Anyway, again, thanks for a great show. I think it is great also if you read this please tell Valeri how great she looks with the weight she has lost, I wish and hope I can do the same.

Try to keep positive. Maybe you can save up $5 dollars or 10 dollars here or there, and in no time you can buy it. It will go down in price. These type of gadgets always do because in the next few months there is always something BIGGER BETTER more GADGIDier (sp)! If Valerie did it, so can we all. Remember, it's really not Jenny Craig (I know, I know it helps though), but it is all about portion control and EXERCISE EXERCISE EXERCISE. TRUST ME!!!

I noticed that Donna Reed said she had severe fibromyalgia. There is an exercise program for elderly and disabled on the PBS stations (Public Broadcasting stations -- with Sesame Street and Mister Rogers)called "Sit & Be Fit" that comes on around 2:00 or 2:30 in my area. Those small movements are enough to make you feel better by gently moving your muscles. It doesn't have to be aerobics at a health club or jogging on a treadmill. Just walking is good for you as well. It gives you more energy and if you are exercising you won't want to snack between meals.
