Hello Kristan, let me say that I really enjoy watching you on Rachael's show, you always have such great ideas, and you're always so enthusiastic!

I saw the Feb. 26 show where you visited the contractor who did his own kitchen on Cool Kitchens.
My husband and I saw the backsplash he did with corks, and fell in love; now we want to do it in our kitchen!!

I'm hoping you can answer some questions we have before we start on our project.
How did he prep the wall before he added the corks (or did he prep it at all?)
What kind of adhesive did he use?
Did he seal the corks with anything when he was finished?

If you have any hints or tips for us, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks for sharing this great idea!
