I usually love the Rachael Ray show, but I was somewhat disappointed with this weeks "Splurge vs.Save" section on weddings. It seemed that she only included the most outrageous prices vs. the seemingly too small prices. I was also a little put off with her description of the wedding cake truffles. I have actually tasted both the Debrand truffles, and the Godiva truffles, and the only reason the Godiva ones are more expensive is because of their brand name. The DeBrand truffles are incredibly smooth and creamy, and you can customize them with colors, and custom sayings. Plus, the Godiva cakes come in a box, so you can't even tell that they are little cake truffles, which completely defeats the purpose. For all of you out there looking for the perfect wedding favor, I strongly recommend the DeBrand Wedding Truffles over Godiva any day.
