Val~ (talking like I've known you forever)

I am a soda junkie and really trying to get off the stuff! I find for me one of the draws of sodas is the "burn" as I call it. That burn you get in the mouth and down the throat. I can get it w/seltzer water. I love fresh lime in it, sometimes lemon. Zero cals, and sodium pretty much a big ZERO. What else could you want!!

I would like to know if you have a web site for support. I watch you whenever I can on RR, and have read your book. OMG! You are so inspiring. I am so like you with the procrastination, and emotional eater. I am going out today to get my Pedometer! I would also like info. on the walk vest you spoke of. Just to check it out, and see if it is affordable. I need to find out if it would work for me. I am having a horrible time with my knees and hips due to the extra weight. I would love to loose 40 - 50 #'s.(I have looked @ Jenny, and with the price of groceries I just can't afford it) I am a stay at home mom and babysit one of the teachers children. We wanted the best setting for our daughter growing up. Her father and I are from the old fashion school, and agreed I needed to be at home. She is going to turn 13 in Aug. and I was looking into actually getting a part time job, or attempting to get a grant to go back to school for phlebotomy (blood draws). My husband has been in the military for a total of 25 yrs. No longer a full timer, but in the Army National Guard, and also works for Honda of America here in Marysville, Ohio.

I have a pole and plates and screws in my spine due to horseback riding incidents. My last one just this past Christmas. Talk about a great way to spend the day! The ER! I believe it is the good Lords way of saying, honey...you can love and groom all the horses you want but for the last 25 yrs. I've been giving you gentle messages re: horses and riding. I think with my 45 yrs. I finally get it. I am listening to him, but it does make me really sad. I have a daughter and wonderful husband I have to obligations to, and I personally just want to get healthier, and not be in a wheelchair.

Well, I have blathered on enough. Just know there is one gal out hhere that is really inspired by you. God Bless, and thanks for sharing your story. You are one bold gal!
