There is only one show on TV (Mobile Home Disasters) and it is more like a comedy about mobile homes. Many people live in mobile homes and could use your advice on how to spruce-up, decorate, etc. their mobile homes.

Hey Kirstan, About ten years ago my husband and I bought our retirement home. It's wonderful.Or at least it was. We've been renting it out. We're moving back there Oct 1st and we have one really big probalem. I'm now wheelchair bound. Our home is a wonderful double wide mobile with a huge lot and three car garage (that sold my husband). The kitchen is an average long, skinney kitchen with a pantry and laundry room at the end. We've looked at magazines, researched on the Internet snd talked to all the talented, creative people we know and everyone's stumped on how to make our kitchen wheelchair friendly. This may truly be a "Mission Impossible". Oh, by the way, there's a deck on the back of the house with steps that go down about 20 feet. The backyard is not just outside the back door. Another problem, we are on a very limited budget. My husband will probably be doing most of the work so please make it simple and easy to understand as he's not a professional carpenter. Thanks for any help you can give us....

I could not agree more! Having grown up in an area densely populated with mobile homes, I spent the majority of my time in them- at friends and boyfriends houses. There is definitely not enough information out there that addresses the specifics of these homes, i.e. the seamed walls, etc.
Let me know what kind of projects you need help with- I'd be happy to put my noggin to work to give you some solutions!

OK irstan, We're back in our wonderful home that's been rented out for 8 years and it's a mess. The roof leaks, we have black mold and everything's falling apart. This is the perfect mobile home project for you, trust me, I wouldn't lie to you........Ms Bam
