Love you home and and love your ideas, tips etc!! I have a similar question about the outdoor Patio Cover you have and you mentioned the Shade Cloth you have. I have looked around on-line, and there is so much out there, and I don't know where to begin. What kind of Shade Cloth did you use and can you give me any tips on what to get?

My cook top is by dacor, and my pergola is dark stained redwood. I used shade cloth by a company called coolaroo...http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productlist&n=0&ntk=i_products&ntt=coolaroo

I stapled (3) 6'wide strips of the cloth to the overhead beams- leaving a 12" space between each for a modern look- and then covered the staples with smaller strips of wood.
Since your pergola is metal, you might need to explore other options like glue or zip ties.
