WOW! What a show today. I felt very uncomfortable for Crystal, dressing up in all those girly clothes, makeup, heels, and all that junk. She is PERFECT the way she was before the makeover. But I am biased, I'm a lesbian and I think she is WAY HOT without the dress and makeup. When I was 22, I had many crushes on boys and not one of them had any interest in me because I was such a tomboy. I never fit in with all the other girls, preferring to play sports instead of do my nails. More than a decade later, I know who I am, and I'm not changing for anything! Anyway, whether Crystal is gay or straight, I hope she just sticks with whatever "look" she feels most comfortable with.

The way I look at this whole situation is, Crystal is the one that contacted the show in the first place! If she didn't want the makeover, she wouldn't have! I do agree that Greta did go WAY over the top with the make-up! Was way to dark and made her look a little sleezy! She has absolute natural beauty and didn't need all that black eyeliner! As for her being gay or straight, I really don't think that has anything to do with why she wanted the makeover! I do wosh that Crystal would come here to the message boards and comment on these comments! That should happen all the time! That would put an end to all the bickering about wether Rachel knows what she is doing! Let me state again! She contacted Rachael's show in the first place! Give Rach a break y'all!

In most makeover show situations, you would expect to have a professional work with the personality of the client and offer alternatives that fit that personality. I felt like Greta was doing what she wanted to do and didn't take this young woman's feelings into account at all. This did nothing for Greta's career and will certainly make viewers reconsider the credibility of the show and it's staff...and sadly, Rachel Ray.

I hope that RR and staff will take note of the disappointment shown on the message boards and make a statement.

I thought Crystal looked great & comfortable from the neck up. She clearly did not look comfortable in that dress or the heels. Couldn't they just have made her feel better about herself without changing who she is? Maybe a more flattering pair of jeans instead of the girlie dress wouldn't have been so bad.
That being said, I think her hair looked great and she did have a glowing smile that radiated her happiness.
The bottom line is if Crystal is happy, I'm happy for her!

Gretta and I had decided for me to wear a really cute tuxedo jacket with a pair of brown dress pants. I was so happy with it but when the producers found out they decided to change it to the dress to make it more "shocking." I don't blame Gretta at all. I actually had a great time hanging out with her. She's very nice. I was just basically told that it had to be an extreme shock to everyone. Thanks for everyone's respect and support. I appreciate it. I knew it was going to be a challenge but it was a bit more than expected.
