Well it can be hard but its great that grandma helped you! I have 3 boys and it wasn't hard. The first one was off the bottle at 9 months but the cippy cut did ruin his teeth! The 2nd one he always had ear infections so at 13 months I just decided to throw all bottles away and start off with a cippy cup. He did great, cryed for a few hours but he got over it!! Now jayden my 16 month his a spoiled one his about 5yrs from my 6 yr old. His more of a hand full. He sleeps with me and my hubby, he thinks he needs a cup to sleep with, so this is what I did i bought him straw cups. So know before he goes to bed i'll give him milk and them water, and if he wakes up I'll let him cry back to sleep. So far its work. My husband is more like you he'll just give him what he wants. Your a great mom no matter what you do with your daughter you just have to be harder on her she'll be fine at the end. She beautiful and very smart for her age so she knows you love her and know your not going to hurt her so she well get over it! jayden is doing good and i know what you mean about sleeping in the same bed! My oldest Christian, his 7 yrs old. He had to sleep holding on to my hair and of course I let him because he was my baby well it got to where every where we went he had to hold on to my hair it was cute but when he got 5 and 6 it wasnt cute anymore, he still sleeping with us and his lil brother was in his own bed! So this is what I did: I would go and put him down and read him a book and then we would say our prayer. Then I would lay down with him until he would fall to sleep, then I would go to my bed. There were a few times he would get mad and cry cause I didnt sleep with him so I just explained to him that he was a big boy! And we know how are children like to be called "Big Boy or Big Girls"! So all you have to do is pick up your jammy pants and say I can do it!! =)I just hope its that easy with Jayden..By the way I love your show!!
