Hi G,

Can you do a segment on RR telling us your fav Holiday Catalogs? Items for the house as well as clothing. It takes weeks sometimes for the catalogs to arrive and then it is almost Christmas. Maybe some unknown places we haven't all heard of??

For myself, I would love to start shopping now and am looking for some cool new stuff. I am 44, live in Southern CA and need some cute new age appropriate clothing. I like casual to semi dressy but stylish.

A catalog segment is a wonderful idea, thank you for suggesting! My favorites are J.Crew and Spiegel for clothing; Crate & Barrel and West Elm for home. In terms of what you are looking for, you're in the best part of the country for fashion finds on a budget. L.A. has such a great selection of stores in a concentrated area that range from inexpensive to elite. Stores like White House Black Market and Zara have great looks for women in your age bracket which are both professional and polished. If you're willing to take some time and commit to looking through racks, the fashion district in downtown L.A. is a mecca for fast fashion and easy basics. There are a ton of wholesalers that sell right out of their factory-front and it's a fun way to spend a day with a friend! Have Fun!

I would also love a holiday section but for me, I am looking for kids clothes. Most of the children that I buy for are under the age of 10. I have 3 kids of my own and they are always outgrowing the clothes I buy. I am looking for trendy clothes that are not going to cost a lot of money. I live in a country in upstate NY so going to the big name stores are not an option all the time. Any advise you could give would be a great help.
