I am a Nurse Anesthetist who worked in the delivery room for years. I knew that Lamaze didn't really work. I was amazed the first time I saw hypnosis being used for a delivery. Now I teach hypnosis. It absolutely works and, from a medical perspective, the uterus just seems to be more efficient. Less labor time, more effective contractions, healthier babies, less fetal distress, a much more controlled delivery !!!
