Old Storage Trunk

Hey KC~
I have an old black storage trunk that I took to sports camp when I was 12 that is sitting in my bedroom! It's full of pictures, old wedding planning stuff, clothes from my honeymoon, etc. It sits in front of a window & was thinking about somehow adding something to the top of it to make a table or window seat. I am so NOT creative! If you have any ideas, please suggest away, but be specific. If you tell me to throw it away, I'm sure I would! I appreciate your input!
