KC- need wall color to match hunter green carpet

KC,my daughter wants to redo her room. We just got new furniture which is an unpainted pine look and we have hunter green carpet. The walls are white right now with stained trim. Can you tell us what wall color would be best for this room? She wants to try to make it a surf theme.
