Hi Gretta,
I need a new coat this winter. I would like to know what styles are in. My old one was a peacoat and I can't decide if I should get another one or a whole different stlye. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi! Coats should be classic: you have to wear them all winter, so you don't want to invest in a style you will grow tired of quickly. If you want a jazzier look, try opting for a classic cut in a bright color or an even pattern like a neutral plaid or houndstooth. Peacoats are always in; they've been around forever! They are typically short, so since you have one already, try opting for a three-quarter length coat. This is a better all-around bet for skirts, dresses and pant looks. Department stores like Macy's and Dillard’s will have the widest selection and discounting should be starting at this point in the season. XO -Gretta
