We know the July 4th BBQ is usually the main event, but you can't forget about dessert—that's when you can get super festive, after all! Luckily, one of our favorite guests, Camila Alves McConaughey, shares three adorable treats to make for the 4th of July.

No. 1: Fruit and Marshmallow Flag

This project is stunning to look at, and couldn’t be easier to make! And it’s one that the kids can totally help with. You just take wooden skewers and thread raspberries, blueberries and mini marshmallows in a pattern so that when you set them together on a platter, they look like an American flag. Adorable! Watch the video for specific pattern instructions.

No. 2: Bald Eagle Treats

Show your patriotism with these adorable little treats. Just take a regular-sized marshmallow and dip it in melted white chocolate. Then, roll all sides except the bottom of the marshmallow in coconut and a set atop a chocolate cookie. Make little holes for eyes and nose with a toothpick, and insert dark frosting for the eyes, and a cashew for the nose. So cute!

No. 3: Flag Cake

This cake looks pretty typical on the outside, a round, white layer cake. No big, right? But when you cut into it, each piece of cake has an American flag in it. How cool! Watch the video to see Camila describe how to make it using red, white and blue cake layers.
