Eggnog Syrup

Add some kick to your holiday breakfast with Rach's twist on maple syrup!

Eggnog Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup eggnog or however much is left in the carton
  • 1/2 cup or so maple syrup (roughly the same amount as eggnog)

Yields: About 1 cup


Preparation

In a small pot over medium-high heat, add the eggnog and maple syrup. Let simmer and reduce until thickened and reduced by half. Pour over your favorite pancakes, waffles or French toast.

If you have more than just the bottom of the carton left in your eggnog container, follow the recipe for your favorite pancakes, waffles, or French toast and just replace the milk with eggnog and you will have another delish holiday breakfast!
