Hummus makes a great picnic food because it can sit out at room temp for a while. Watch Rachael put together the perfect picnic basket.

Hummus With Veggies & Pita Chips

Ingredients

  • 4 carrots, cut into sticks
  • 4 stalks of celery, cut into sticks
  • 1 container store-bought hummus, any kind you like
  • 1 bag pita chips, any kind you like

Yields: 6-8 servings


Preparation

Place carrot and celery sticks in zip bags or re-sealable containers and refrigerate until you are ready to pack your picnic basket. Leave the hummus and chips in their original containers for easy transportation.
