Orange-Maple Reduction
Use this as a glaze over grilled chicken breasts.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- A pinch of chili flakes or powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Yields: 4 servings
Preparation
Mix the chicken stock, orange juice, maple syrup and chili flakes together in a small saucepan over high heat. Let it come to a bubble and reduce it by half until it is thick and syrupy, about 5 minutes.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
