It’s hard enough to dress when you’re familiar with your body type, but when you lose a bunch of weight or have a baby, it can leave you really scratching your head.

We partnered with style expert Gretta Monahan and Women’s Health magazine to show three amazing ladies how to dress their beautiful new figures.

Anita lost a whopping 200 pounds in the past couple years, and she’s still gravitating toward the type of oversized, loose clothing that flattered her former figure.

Gretta’s advice: Ditch the boxy pieces that square off your shape. Try bold, semi-metallic pieces that will show off your tiny waist and fit arms and legs.

Any woman who has given birth will tell you -- your body changes, and even with weight loss, it might not be the same as it was before. Dominique recently gave birth to twins, and while she doesn’t have a problem with the scale, the shape of her body has changed.

Gretta’s advice: Try a blouse with an eye-catching print to help streamline your shape, paired with an A-line skirt which won’t pinch your hips so it minimizes love handles. Stick to higher waistlines which will draw the eyes up and lengthen your shape.

HOW TO DRESS AFTER BUILDING MUSCLE...

Rachael Ray Show

Melissa lost 50 pounds and then gained it back in muscle, which means she has a leaner, more muscular physique. She has a hard time finding clothes because her slim waist and athletic thighs need different sizes.

Gretta’s advice: Try a jumpsuit, because they’re not only easy to wear, but the extra room in the thighs is perfect for a muscular frame. A flair pant will flatter athletic thighs because they create balance from the thigh to hem.
