Peanut Butter Cheesecake Swirl Brownies

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 20-ounce box of your favorite brownie mix + any ingredients the boxed directions call for
  • For the Peanut Butter Cheesecake Swirl:
  • 8-ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
PREPARATION

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan, set aside.

Prepare brownie mix to package directions.

In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, peanut butter, vanilla, sugar and egg.

Pour brownie batter into pan. Drop dollops of the peanut butter cream cheese mixture over the top of the brownie batter. Using a knife, gently swirl the peanut butter cream cheese mixture into the brownie batter.

Pour brownie batter into pan. Drop dollops of the peanut butter cream cheese mixture over the top of the brownie batter. Using a knife, gently swirl the peanut butter cream cheese mixture into the brownie batter.

Bake about 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. When its done, remove brownies from oven and transfer to a wire rack. Allow to cool before diving in!

If you like your brownies chunky, feel free to add chocolate chips, nuts or anything else your heart desires. If you just can't get enough peanut butter, try adding some peanut butter chips as well!
