Abigail Derethik's Cherry-Almond Soda

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup frozen Bing cherries, thawed 
  • 2 tablespoons almond syrup
  • 1 liter soda water 
  •  
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream, optional 
  • 2 brandied cherries, optional garnish 
PREPARATION

In a blender, purée the cherries. Pour into prepared glasses, mix in the almond syrup and top with some soda water. 
 
Add a scoop of ice cream and brandied cherries for a more decadent dessert.
