Layer store-bought pumpkin pie, pecan pie and cheesecake with whipped cream then top with chocolate sandwich cookies for the easiest Thanksgiving dessert ever.

"All I want on Thanksgiving is a mouthful of pumpkin, pecan pie and cheesecake," says celebrity lifestyle expert Clinton Kelly. "However, I’m not that excited about baking pies. Buy pumpkin pie, buy a cheesecake, buy a pecan pie, and assemble this trifle with whipped cream between each layer. Better presentation than putting three store-bought pies on the table!"

Ingredients

  • 1 quart heavy whipping cream (might need more once you start assembling)
  • Confectioners’ sugar, to taste
  • Pure vanilla extract, to taste
  • 1 store-bought pumpkin pie
  • 1 store-bought cheesecake
  • 1 store-bought pecan pie
  • 6 to 8 chocolate sandwich cookies

Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, add the cream. Add to taste the confectioners' sugar and a small amount of vanilla. Whisk until soft peaks form.

Using a sharp knife, cut off the pie crust sides (not the bottoms).

Break up the cheesecake into large chunks. Arrange in the bottom of a trifle dish evenly for the first layer. Top with a layer of whipped cream.

Break up the pumpkin pie into large chunk. Arrange in the trifle dish evenly for the middle layer. Top with a layer of whipped cream.

Scoop or spoon the pecan pie onto the trifle evenly, then top with a final layer of whipped cream.

Place chocolate sandwich cookies in a resealable plastic bag and seal to close. Smash to a crumble-like consistency. Sprinkle on top of the trifle.
