"My mom and I have a rivalry that just gets bigger and bigger every Thanksgiving!" says Christina, who challenged her mom's reign as holiday pie baker by adding her own apple pie to their table. "My mom's pie is just the traditional ho-hum apple pie, but mine's got tons of personality so it's much better." Her mom bakes from scratch using a family recipe and sees her daughter's creation a bit differently. "Christina's pie does not have the spunk that mine has," Maydell says. "I think she just wanted to start a family feud!"

Rachael calls in Rocco DiSpirito to end this dispute with a blind taste test. The winner gets bragging rights and a trip to a spa, while the loser must agree to wear a turkey suit around Manhattan. "I am going to get in the middle of a Texas brawl!" Rocco jokes, before tasting each pie. "This is very close ... after a long internal debate, it's Maydell!"

Now that she's been crowned the champ will she let her daughter's pie share the table with her own this holiday season? Maydell has an immediate response: "I will!"
