Rachael doesn't bake, so when it's time to prepare a Thanksgiving dessert, she calls in pal Katie Lee Joel, wife of Billy Joel and author of The Comfort Table,to share one of her favorite recipes -- Spiced Apple Cobbler with Pumpkin Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce. (Click here to get the recipe that you'll find only on RachaeyRayShow.com!)
Katie Lee explains how she came up with the name of her new book, which is filled with recipes, anecdotes and entertaining tips. "I look back on the best memories of my life," she tells Rachael, "and they're always around a table ... and when you put 'comfort' and 'table' together, it spells comfortable!"
Rachael asks Katie what a typical holiday is like for her. "Lots of family, lots of food, lots of friends," she replies. "We kickback, relax and enjoy each other. We usually end the meal with a little live music -- we like to have a sing-along -- though I lip-sing along because I have the worst voice in the family!"
"Well," Rachael points out, "it's a little intimidating when you have a sing-along with Billy Joel!"
