When iconic journalist Barbara Walters makes her first visit to the kitchen table, Rachael strikes a deal with the queen of interviews. "If I do an OK job," Rachael says, "will you give me one exclusive at the end of the interview? Something no one knows about you?" Barbara says she'll "think of something" and welcomes Rachael's questions.

Before she began debating hot issues with Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck on The View, Barbara earned a reputation for her emotionally-charged interviews. In 40 years of reporting, Barbara says she was only tempted to halt an interview once, but the reason was not because her guest was crying. She says "unfortunately" it happened with Clint Eastwood. "Before he got married, he was flirting with me on camera and I couldn't go on. I said, 'Stop camera!' and then he asked me if I would have dinner and I said, 'No. I have to work,'" Barbara recalls, and jokes: "I could have been Mrs. Eastwood!" That's just one of the 1,000 interviews Barbara recounts in her best-selling book Audition -- quite a successful career for a woman who expected to stay behind-the-scenes. "I never thought I would be in front of the camera," she says. "Nobody has everything, but I've been so blessed."

Rachael checks in with Barbara to see how she did with the interview, and Barbara says, "You were perfect!" She follows through on her deal to reveal something nobody knows about her life, and uses a story from her daughter. "At one point somebody said to her, 'Jackie, what do you know about your mother that none of us know?' and she said, 'My mother has kept the same night gowns for 25 years.'" Barbara admits, "They don't go out of style!"

As Rachael celebrates her 500th show, Barbara can't help but turn the tables and ask Rach to share what she considers to be the five "most fascinating" moments from her talk show. Click here for Rachael's answers!
