"The Biggest Loser's" Jillian Michaels

Talk about the show

It's barely been a month since New Year's Day, so Rachael decides to check in with the audience on their resolutions. When most admit they've already slipped off course with their plan to shed some pounds, Rachael invites The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels for help to get everyone back on track.

Jillian shares two tips that "will get you through anything you want to achieve." First, write down all the reasons you want to change. "This will inspire you," she explains. "The second part is if you think you're able - then you will be. So educate yourself. People will do anything that they think is worth it and if they think they're able."

For those who were losing weight steadily and think they've now hit a plateau, Jillian says the problem is often fluid fluctuation or your metabolism adjusting, which shouldn't last longer than a week. "You probably stopped counting calories, you probably haven't been working out as intensely as long, you haven't been mixing up your routine," she suggests. "And in my experience on Biggest Loser I can usually sail through a season with maybe one bad week and these guys are losing hundreds of pounds, so I don't really believe them anymore."

Rachael says it sounds like we all just need to "eat even less and move even more," so she asks Jillian to teach the audience some new exercises for their arms, butts and stomachs. Click on the video for her tips! Jillian also wants to make sure you don't leave out your teeth when you design your fitness plan, so she's giving away Oral-B Vitality toothbrushes.
