Dr. Brantley explains the healthy benefits you can get from certain black foods -- and he's not talking about black licorice or devil's food cake! "In Chinese medicine," Dr. Brantley says, "they link the color of the food with specific organs in the body -- they think the black foods help the kidneys. And when they take a look at the actual color in this food, it comes from these antioxidants called anthocyanins and they are actually anti-inflammatory. So for us, eating these foods will help protect us against cancer, heart disease and aging."
