From hair appointments and manicures to shoes, a dress, transportation and flowers, prom night is a pricey endeavor for a teenage girl. For Samantha, a high school junior who's going to two proms, the cost of her dream dress is so exhorbitant that she's at a loss over what to wear.
Actress Brittany Snow didn't go to her own prom, but she's stepping up to help Samantha look glamorous without spending a fortune. Along with other generous celebrities, Brittany is working with Hearst Magazines and Donate My Dress.org to give free dresses to teens. Brittany's dress is both adorable and full of star power as it's from her time on the TV series American Dreams. "I got a few perks," Brittany says. "I designed a homecoming dress and then the seamstress from American Dreams made it for me."
She then announces she has a surprise for Samantha -- and gives her the dress! "It is such a pretty dress," Rachael says. "She's going to be stunning." Samantha is thrilled and promises to send Rach a picture from the big night!
