Chris Rock is known around the world for his irreverent humor and saucy language, but there are two people who he won't curse in front of: his parents! "My parents never cursed in the house," he says, referring to his childhood. "If I stub my toe and my father is in the room I'm going to go, 'Darn!'" Still, his parents are OK with the colorful language when this funnyman is on stage. "How else is their mortgage going to get paid?"

When he's not on tour or working on a movie, Chris says he doesn't even get a break from the performing when he goes home to his wife and two young daughters. "You have times when you have to give a show - sometimes you have to give a show to get somebody to put their clothes on in the morning!" he jokes. So what happens when Chris' 5- and 7-year-old try to get away with stuff? "If they're funny, they can get away with it, but otherwise watch out before I throw a boot!" Having two girls has led him to some new situations as a grown man. "My girls are girlie girls like ballerinas," he says. "They don't want to go to games ... 'Can you take me to the American Girl Cafe for lunch?' ... I'm sitting there and sometimes I even have my own doll!" That leaves him seeking out guy time whenever he can get it. "When the Fed Ex guy comes over I talk a little too long!"

Focusing on family, Chris Rock produced and starred Death at a Funeral as a guy who loses his father only to discover his dad's deep secrets on the day of his funeral. He is also out with the DVD of his documentary Good Hair, which explores how African Americans feel about their hair. It was inspired by his older daughter, Lola. "She was just ... loving her girlfriend's hair a little too much for me, to the point that I was uncomfortable," he explains. "It just sparked something in me."

The 45-year-old has been married to the same woman for more than a decade, so Rachael asks what it's like after all of those years. "If there's a 7-year itch," Rach points out, "What is the best description of a marriage at 13 years?"

"It's a big canker sore at 13!" Chris jokes. "You've scratched it 'till you saw the bone!" Before he gets himself into too much hot water with the comments, he assures Rachael that he is happily married and it all started when they first fell in love. "She made me sweet potato pie!"
