Christina Ricci
Acting in films since the age of 10 has given Christina Ricci the chance to work with the likes of Cher, Winona Ryder, Johnny Depp and Charlize Theron, and now she is working with another big-name cast in the Broadway drama, Time Stands Still. With 2010 coming to an end, Rachael asks what Christina’s favorite moments of the year were; and the star says that would be the day she conquered her fear of the stage for this job. “I went and I did the audition for the show, and I remember walking back to the hotel thinking, 'Oh my God, you forgot, you have the worst stage fright ever! What are you going to do?’” Christina recalls. “I was just like, ‘Alright the train has left the station, you’re going to do it or die trying!’”
She got the hang of it, and says it definitely keeps her on her toes to be in front of a live audience. "We had one night, there was somebody who was laughing in a really inappropriate manner," she recalls, noting she plays the friend of an injured war correspondent, played by Laura Linney. "He's laughing at things like Laura falling down!"
