You don't have to spend a lot of money on decorations for your child's next party -- just raid their toy chest! The crafty Stacey Ballis shares her tips for creating the coolest kids table ever.

Tinker Toy Flowers

The centerpiece brings some visual stimulation to a table for kids and can even be played with during the meal. All you need are tinker toys, an ice bucket and a bunch of gumballs!

Coloring Book Placemats

You want a table setting that's easy to clean, so use paper tablecloths (with crayons for every kid), and tape two pages of a coloring book together to make a neat placemat and mealtime activity.

Coolest Place Setting Ever!

Remember those old "Cootie" toys? Use them as napkin holders! For napkins, try colorful washcloths that you can just toss in the hamper after the party. And the frisbee plate makes a great take home gift.

Interactive Dessert

Want to keep the kids entertained while you're enjoying coffee and dessert? "It takes a kid two minutes to eat a cookie; it'll take them 45 minutes to decorate one," Stacey says. Put out some plain cookies and surround them with all the toppings -- sprinkles, various frostings, candy, etc.
