When she's playing Shauna on HBO's Entourage, Debi Mazar has her hands full trying to keep the boys out of trouble as their loyal publicist. But off the set, she admits to Rachael, "Collectively as a group, they annoy me. I have no problem saying that! There's a lot of testosterone." She explains, "I have a separate relationship with each one. On a one-to-one level, I get along great with them. Jeremy Piven is who he is and makes no apologies about it. Kevin Dillon reminds me of a young Jack Lemon. They're all really nice guys."
A mother of two, Debi finds that balancing work and family can be difficult sometimes, and there's one thing most people lose -- sleep! "Sleep is a great thing when you're a mom, but we get very little of it. I've had insomnia for years, but as a mother, taking sedatives isn't an option."
Debi, a spokesperson for the "Sleepless Moms" campaign, says, "If you do have insomnia, it's very important that you talk to a health care professional because there are solutions that aren't sedatives, that are non-narcotic and non-addictive." In today's world with cell phones, e-mail and pagers, it's hard to turn off your head and just chill in the bedroom anymore ... but Debi's got a few tips: "Make love, have a glass of wine, take a hot bath, take the TV out of the room."
Rachael adds: "Ooh, I like those tips!"
