Diane Keaton
Dressed in a swanky hat and long black gloves, Diane Keaton proves she's still an incomparable fashion icon when she stops by the studio. "I love your sense of style," Rachael tells the Oscar® winner.
"But have I gone too far with the gloves?" Diane asks. "It's just that I can't move my hands, so therefore I can't eat."
"Oh that's not good," Rachael says, encouraging the star to take off the gloves so she can enjoy a snack. After a candid chat about Diane's red carpet experiences, her kids and her body image (click on the video above to watch the interview), Rachael asks about her Mad Money co-stars Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes. "A room full of talent. Massive and gorgeous women," Diane says. "Both of those girls' faces? Forget it."
It's Katie's first movie since she and Tom Cruise became parents and Diane praises this young star for how she's handling the glare of the paparazzi in comparison to others in Hollywood. "I feel so bad and heartbroken for other people that are not able to handle it. It's too much in the spotlight," she says. "It's overwhelming for some and look at her though, she's like a pro."
You could say Diane is a bit of a pro herself, with nine Golden Globe® nods and four Oscar® nominations for classic movies including Reds, Annie Hall and more recently Something's Gotta Give with Jack Nicholson. "Do you just love looking back on the scrapbook of your life?" Rachael asks. "It's so wonderful, all these great experiences."
Diane nods in agreement and points out one special highlight: "All those men," she says. "That was the best fun ... the best way to be related to a man is in a movie because they have to love you."
