Fake lashes really make your eyes pop, but most women aren't lucky enough to have a makeup artist apply them ... which means lashes get glued onto fingers instead of eyes!
Now's your chance to try this look because Gretta's got the 4-1-1 on the different kinds of lashes available and the best way to put them on.
Individual Lashes
These come in singles or sets of three or four lashes, which are easier to put on. If you want a really natural look, use these. You only need two or three on the edge of your eye. Use your fingers to apply them if you're comfortable or you can use tweezers, which may feel odd at first but you'll get used to using them. These lashes really accentuates the eye; it's an instant way to get glam. There's no need to pay a lot for these because they're going to go right down the drain. They come off with the rest of your makeup. Done!
Strip Lashes
These are the easiest to start with. They come in thick or fine. When trying to figure out which ones will work for you, remember that the shorter and the more sparse the lashes are, the more natural they'll look. If you want more of a glam look, go for thicker ones. To apply, use a tiny bit of glue, stick the strip on your lash line and be done with it!
