Five Great Buys Under $5
Gretta's back with some great tips on getting the most bang for your buck when it comes to beauty and looking good.
• "Chanel's Black Satin nail polish is all the rage," Gretta says. "It's so popular, there isn't a bottle to be found in all of New York City, so now a regularly $18 bottle sells on eBay for up to $100! Save yourself the time and money by getting Wet 'N Wild's black nail polish for $1.99."
• Gretta explains, "Lash extending is all the latest craze with celebs these days, but it only lasts for 4-5 weeks. It also takes forever to have done and it's expensive. Buying sets of single lashes is a great workaround but they are hard to put on and can't be reused." Gretta recommends getting strips of lashes, rather than the singles, then cutting them into thirds. They're much cheaper and you get three times the use out of one package!
• To solve the solution of wrinkled clothing when you're on-the-go, Gretta suggests Wrinkle-Free. You can get it right in the drugstore for $4.99 and it's a lot easier to carry in your purse than an iron or steamer. Simply spray it on, smooth out your clothes and you're good to go!
• One of Gretta's favorite new finds is Cheer True Fit laundry detergent. "It really holds the fit and color of your clothing," she says. An additional tip for keeping your jeans in great shape and color: Wash them in ice cold water and keep them out of the dryer.
• Looking for a yummy find under five bucks? How about a tin of personalized chocolates? Forget "M&M," these can say whatever you want!
