After giving an obsessed fan the shock of his life, Gene Simmons explains why he's jealous of the fan's true passion. "KISS has been around 35 years," he says. "Broken box office records by Elvis and the Beatles and all that stuff. And it's wonderful and very satisfying to have millions of fans around the world love you, but the love you have for your wife -- we're always going to be number two."

The rocker, whose life with girlfriend Shannon Tweed and their children is documented on the A&E reality series Family Jewels, tells Rachael about the upcoming KISS tour and what it means to one special lady in his life. "Helsinki sold out in seven minutes," he says. "This is all good because my mother wants another house, and I love my mother. She comes from Hungary, and even though she's uneducated and isn't worldly, the wisdom that comes out of her mouth continues to be what I abide by every day. Her philosophy has always been, 'you've got a good day if it's above ground.'"
