When it comes to picking the right bra, Rachael's fashion buddy Gretta has a shocking statistic. "Over 80 percent of the women who shop for bras buy the wrong size," she says. "They usually buy too small a cup and too big around the back." While getting the right size might confuse some shoppers, the different styles available can be just as overwhelming, so Gretta outlines the five bra basics you need to know:

Full coverage
"This is good for everyone, it's a universal style. They come in AA all the way up to specialty sizes. You're going to get the most support because it comes with a little bit of a wider side band and straps. You can do it in lace, molded when you need shape — it comes every way."

Demi cup
"This is three-quarter coverage and is really meant for smaller breasts. I say, if you go beyond a C cup here, it starts to be a little too much — lots of spilling and not the cleavage you want."

Balconette
"You get the maximum lift but without the padding. The straps are wide, and the way to identify this in the store is that the top of the cups go straight across so people who are D cup don't have to worry about adding too much bulk. The thing I want to warn about this bra is that if you aren't as firm (like, post-baby), this style can be tricky because cups do runneth over; perhaps the full coverage would be a better choice."

Push-Up
"These make 'the girls' one to two sizes bigger, so if you're looking for size, this is where it's at. But here's the thing when buying a bra to increase or reduce your appearance — let the garment do the work. Buy it true-to-size. You still have to buy the right cup and back, otherwise things start popping out and it doesn't look good in clothes."

Plunge
"It's a classic T-shirt bra; you can do it molded, clean, but it works in every single size. It's going to be the deepest V, and it is going to cover you. You do get maximum support."
