Marianne Szymanski from Toy Tips magazine demonstrates some interactive toys that are great for development and will keep kids of all ages entertained for hours. Watch the video above to see one family test drive these toys, and check out the gallery for more information on each (prices subject to change).
Additional tips from Marianne:
"For many parents, toys are about reaching back into their own childhood. Classic toys and games from a generation ago are still available this holiday season, such as board games like Monopoly, Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Operation and Sorry. Sometimes it feels like toys are hard to find, but I always suggest that parents make a checklist before they go shopping or check eBay if they can't find the toys they want in stores.
